We are settled at the Marina Pirata's Mall, which is conveniently located in
Angra dos Reis,
right at the entrance of the town. It has been very well
designed for people who want to take advantage of the beaches and
islands in the area because it has direct access to the sea and your
yacht. From the deck and terraces you have a beatiful view of the Angra
dos Reis Bay.
It is a very good starting point due to its shopping area which has a
very well asorted supermarket, boutiques, restaurants, drug stores, etc.
This is an advantage because you can provision your yacht, selecting
your preferred foods, do shopping, without having to worry about the
items you forgot to pack up, have lunch and solving in a quick and
entertaining way the proceedings of the first day.
Another advantage when doing your shopping is being able to carry all
your provisions directly in the supermarket cart up to your yacht in the
marina.
If during your charter you
are sailing around the area you can sleep in the marina, load fuel or
water, take a shower, enjoy a beer or "caipirinha" at any of the bars,or
have dinner in any of the restaurants Certain nights there is music or
dance in the shopping area.
Angra dos Reis is 150 km from Río de Janeiro. It takes about 2hrs 15
min to get from the airport to the marina. We can arrange for a van to
fetch you at the airport and bring you directly to our base.
During all this time we are there to help you out with anything you
may need to know, as from organizing your charter, provisioning,
information, language, etc. We are happy to help you down to the smallest
detail, to make sure your trip is as relaxed as possible. (See

great beaches and famous local restaurants. |

A little further,
Isla Grande, the largest island of the 365, offers over 106 of
some of Brazil's most beautiful beaches, some of them are completly
deserted, others have typical fishermen villages and many have bars,
restaurants, floating pubs and even an artists retreat where you can
enjoy fresh seafood, and in the summer time listem to music under
the stars. All these beaches are joined by preserved eco paths that
go through the jungle.. |

 |
|
You can also reach Paraty (
3/4 hours sailing from Angra ), an enchanty colonial town, a "get
