It is a very good starting point due to its shopping area which has a very well asorted supermarket, boutiques, restaurants, drug stores, etc. This is an advantage because you can provision your yacht, selecting your preferred foods, do shopping, without having to worry about the items you forgot to pack up, have lunch and solving in a quick and entertaining way the proceedings of the first day.
Another advantage when doing your shopping is being able to carry all your provisions directly in the supermarket cart up to your yacht in the marina.
If during your charter you are sailing around the area you can sleep in the marina, load fuel or water, take a shower, enjoy a beer or "caipirinha" at any of the bars,or have dinner in any of the restaurants Certain nights there is music or dance in the shopping area.
